MANGUE is a Contemporary Circus performance that uses balance, dance and acrobatics as tools to create a challenging and appealing narrative that explores different possibilities of movement between the individual, the scenic space and the rope, in an attempt to find balance in interaction with nature. Finding inspiration in the reality of amphibious beings, people and creatures that inhabit the mangroves, that live balancing on tangled roots, getting stuck in the mud, swimming in the tides where the river meets the sea in search of food to survive.
