Internationalization is seen as a challenge that cuts across various sectors of the economy, including the arts. In the field of artistic creation for public space, this issue is even more evident, due to the differences between presentation locations, which become more striking between countries. Therefore, it is crucial to dedicate attention and planning to this process. In this masterclass, Vicenç Mayans will share successful concepts and methodologies for the internationalization of performative artistic projects for public space, aiming to help participants develop the necessary skills in this field. The main objective of the session will be to stimulate a new look at the opportunities for international artistic circulation, enabling participants to explore the potential transnational reach of their creations.
After his artistic studies in Mallorca, Vicenç Mayans began his work with Rodrigo García, moving to Barcelona. With more than 13 years of experience in performing arts, he has worked as a performer and actor for highly recognized companies such as Mariantonia Oliver, Societat Dr. Alonso, Marta Galán and TNC productions, among others. Additionally, he served as artistic director and choreographer for Cía. Lalupe's physical theater performances. Since 2014, he has dedicated himself to the international distribution of performing arts projects and the professional development of new choreographers, such as Ofir Yudilevitch and Andrea Costanzo Martini, always remaining open to discovering new talents.
