In partnership with CRUMA and the support of the Directorate-General for the Arts, Outdoor Arts Portugal will enable the participation of an emerging Portuguese artist in SPASA 2024, an immersive international laboratory training program for performative artistic creation in public spaces, which takes place between Cervera and Tàrrega (Spain).
An international street arts training lasting two weeks. Taking advantage of two important performing arts events taking place in the Lleida region in a short period of time, four international companies will promote intensive laboratories on the topic for a professional audience interested in creating performances for public space. In 2024, SPASA offers training experience with Joan Català, G. Bistaki, Eléctrico 28 and Adrien Schwarstein.
SPASA believes that street arts must be based on theoretical and practical specialization of its performers. Committing to a 360º view of the sector. Each edition of SPASA delves into the practical work and tools used by different companies and internationally recognized professionals.
The selected artist will be guaranteed free access to the training program, as well as accommodation, meals and travel (Portugal-Barcelona flights and public transport tickets to/from Cervera).
