Outdoor Arts Portugal will enable the participation of one emerging Portuguese artist in SPASA, an immersive international laboratory-based training programme for artistic creation in public space, taking place between Cervera and Tàrrega (Spain).

This two-week international street arts training programme takes advantage of two major performing arts events happening in the Lleida region within a short timeframe. Four international companies will lead intensive laboratories on the subject for a professional audience interested in creating performances for public space. In 2025, SPASA will offer training experiences with Andrea Paz, Caterina Moroni, La Ville en Feu, and Be Flat.

SPASA believes that street arts should be grounded in both theoretical and practical specialisation for performers, committing to a 360º vision of the sector. Each edition of SPASA delves into the practical work and tools used by different internationally recognised companies and professionals.

The selected artist will receive free access to the training programme, as well as accommodation, some meals during the programme, and travel (flights from Portugal to Barcelona and public transport tickets to/from Cervera).
