Any Portuguese professional entity (individual or collective) operating in the field of performing arts for public space and contemporary circus can register. There are five profile types: artist, creation space, festival, training, and organisation. An artist is understood to be the entity responsible for the creation and performance of works; a creation space is any entity/venue that provides support for artistic creation; a festival is any programming entity with a primary focus on these artistic fields, whether it organises a festival, showcase, or season; training refers to any professional entity with the mission to provide structured artistic and technical training in these artistic domains; and organisation refers to other entities with a mission to offer strategic sectoral support in these fields (technical or complementary service providers are excluded).

Each registration on the platform is limited to a single profile type (artist, creation space, festival, training, or organisation). In the case of a mixed entity – for example, a creation entity that also organises a festival or showcase – we suggest creating an artist profile for that purpose, where you can also create show profiles, and a festival profile for the programming project. The same tax entity can create more than one profile when its activity justifies it.

The platform is free to use for professionals in the artistic creation sector for public space and contemporary circus. The platform's operating costs are covered by support from the Portuguese Republic – Culture, through the Directorate-General for the Arts, ensuring universal access for artistic entities regardless of their financial situation. However, only profiles that meet the criteria outlined in the previous question and the mission of Outdoor Arts Portugal will be approved and published, specifically the integrated sectoral promotion of professional agents of artistic creation for public space and contemporary circus on an international scale. Profiles of amateur artistic entities or artists without a connection to the field of performing arts, including its multidisciplinary dimension, will not be published.
