Dança
Choreographer, dancer, indipendent producer
Her initial training and subsequent career as an author combine theoretical study with the practice of different movement techniques and compositional approaches, from a perspective that sees contemporary creation as an encounter between languages. Her choreographic work, presented both in the theatre and in unconventional spaces, explores different ways of sharing art, privileging the public space and the most diverse audiences, emphasising the interconnection between stage space and everyday life, audience and performers.
After an initial period studying dance and cinema in Turin, she continued her dance research at the Laban Centre - London, at the Tanztheater Wuppertal, with an Erasmus grant, and in Paris for a master's degree at the University of Paris VIII, dance department. His first creations have been presented at national and international performing arts festivals, such as the international contemporary dance festival Interplay, Les Repérages Rencontre internationale de la jeune chorégraphie Lille, Tanzmesse Düsseldorf, Charleroi Dance, Festival da Fabrica Porto, FKM Belgrad, Corpi Urbani Genoa, Autunno Danza Festival Cagliari, as well as other international in situ creation projects as the EU/Interreg France-Italy Marchés Communes, Italyart Cultural Olympiad, Dancing cities /Festival Havana Vieja L'Havana, Cuba.
Since 2019 she is based in Lisbon, her work has been presented at the DDD Dias da Dança Corpo+Cidade Porto and at the SESC Dance Biennial in São Paulo. In 2022 she is selected by Artemrede for the Stronger Pheripheries EU project/shortlist artists and for Manobras Festival.
Her most recent project Wall Dialogue Resistance, written and co-directed with musician and composer Stefano Risso, was selected by the ENCC European Network for Cultural Centres/ incubator project and became a Creative Europe project funded by the European Commission for 2021-2023.
